Touchstone Communities™ offers a continuum of care for elders that include rehabilitative services, skilled nursing, assisted living, as well as specialized care for persons with Alzheimer's disease or needing respite or behavioral care. To better service its residents, all of Touchstone’s communities operate on an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, which lessens the amount of time nurses spend on paperwork and creates more time for them to care for residents. The system is efficient and allows for nurses to provide more care directly at the residents’ bedside.

Touchstone’s Communities™ is the first to bring the Neighborhood concept to Texas called The Heights®.  The Heights® is an entirely new model of long-term care offering an intimate home setting while establishing a new standard of personalized care. Currently The Heights® is located on Huebner Road in San Antonio, Pleasanton, Tyler, Gonzales, and opening late 2011 in Laredo. 

Touchstone’s newest endeavor is The Enclave®.  The Enclave® is being designed under the Small House concept.  The goal of this model is to provide a more home-like experience to residents. The model is implemented through a holistic philosophy that supports autonomy, dignity, and choice and recognizes the potential of each individual resident.  Touchstone will be managing the nation’s first small house for veterans in conjunction with the Texas State Veterans Land Board, opening late 2011 in Tyler, Texas.
