This Facility
This facility seems to not really pay to much attention to Patients. They seem to not give the residents what they ask for and they don't do much of keeping the patients clean and smelling good. I think that I would not really recommend this facility for your loved ones. If you really care about how they are taken care off!

7 years for mom-pleased
I disagree with previous review. We placed our mother in this facility based on others recommendations for staff being caring and service oriented. NOT FANCY. She was placed in B wing until her passing. The caregivers were attentive to her needs, caring and friendly. She was particular about her surroundings but after residing there for a short time she LOVED the staff (ALL The Staff). The turn over in staff is very little. Food-basic. I visited two to three times a week (no specific days) All staff knew me by first name. It is family. Mother didn't want to go anywhere else. There might be other circumstances and needs for care but family showing involvement helps. I have been told by MANY different facilities (when researching for a place), too many times families place loved ones in their facilities and don't stay involved.NOT saying the previous reviewer did this-just stating if you stay in contact a lot of issues/clarifications of care/misunderstandings can be resolved. I would recommend considering a review of this not so fancy (usually lower income facility) be looked at. (to each is own) There were times of smell and a few unkept people BUT their were resolved fairly quickly. Remember this is a nursing home/behavioral health facility. These types of issues happen in ALL the facilities. By the way mom had all her faculties to distinguish her environment.
