Brookdale Anaheim, formerly Emeritus at Fairwood Manor, is located in a quiet residential neighborhood on the north side of Anaheim. Our munity has easy access to both the 91 and 5 freeways in North Orange County.

We are conveniently located near shopping malls, restaurants, movie theaters, banks and senior centers. For visiting children, we are conveniently close to both Knott’s Berry Farm and Disneyland. We also enjoy being located within driving distance to the local beaches and, on a clear day, we have the view of the San Gabriel Mountains.

If needed, our community is also near West Anaheim Hospital and a nursing home rehabilitation facility.

Brookdale Anaheim has 115 beautiful apartments with a variety of floor plans available including studio, studio deluxe and one-bedroom units. Each apartment has its own private bath and a kitchenette.

We have three activity areas and a cozy library where residents can read and enjoy their time. Our spacious living room has a warm and inviting fireplace. We have beautiful windows where we can view our interior courtyard while dining and participating in activities. The north end of our property has park-like walking paths and resting benches. Our residents enjoy our beautifully landscaped property and often take walks throughout the day to enjoy our mild weather.

Strong, Caring, Professional Relationships

We nurture strong relationships with area hospitals, specialty clinics, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers and a variety of health-care providers. These include West Anaheim Medical Center and its affiliated geriatric specialists and senior health programs.

Through the communications and relationships that we share with key staff at these organizations, we can provide a seamless continuum of care for our residents. And depending upon what the resident needs for rehabilitation services, we will bring in outside physical, occupational and speech therapists to work with residents here on site. We can also bring in outside hospice services as necessary.

Our Staff

We are fortunate to have staff members who have devoted their life’s work to working with seniors. Many of our team members have been with us since we first opened. Part of the reason our staff is so trustworthy and caring is that they are passionate about what they do and it shows in the way they take pride in their jobs and how they care for each resident with dignity, respect and humor.
