A Wonderful Selection

Brookdale Citrus Heights has a home-like environment with a family atmosphere. All of our residents are considered part of our family and treated with the respect and dignity you would wish for your parent or loved one. We have two types of rooms available. Private studios come furnished with a bed, nightstand, lamp, dresser, and a chair; or friendship suites that are shared with one other resident for those who prefer to be with another person.

The jewel of Brookdale Citrus Heights is our very large backyard. We boast two courtyard areas, a large patio area, a gazebo, walking paths, raised planter beds, lush landscaping, and an expansive lawn area. We use our yard a great deal in the spring, summer, and fall for activities and events for the enjoyment of our residents and their families.

Brookdale Citrus Heights has many partnerships and affiliations, not only with healthcare providers but with other related industries such as:

• Creekside Managed Care Pharmacy , an Omnicare Company, who is a leading long-term care pharmacy providing pharmaceutical services to assisted living communities throughout California.
• Personal Care Program , a service provided in collaboration with Gulf South Medical Supplies and Tena Products for the purchase of incontinence supplies that provide comfort, convenience, and cost savings to residents who are experiencing mild to severe incontinence or loss of bladder control.
• Elderlife Financial Services , a financial services company that can extend loans for senior living families, bridging the gap for immediate funds needed while waiting for a home to be sold or until benefits arrive. Small monthly payments are made until the funds come in.
• Life Care Funding Group , a company that has a program that helps seniors raises funds to pay for senior living through the sale of a life insurance policy.
• Veterans’ Benefits Group , an educational and outreach organization committed to helping veterans and their families obtain the VA Aid & Attendance pension income benefit from the Veteran’s Administration.

Our Staff

The staff at Brookdale Citrus Heights are those committed to the safety, compassionate care, dignity, respect, and loving environment we aim to deliver to all of our family of residents. Some of our staff members have been with us in our community for many years. All of our team members are trained in the care of those with Alzheimer’s, the many forms of dementia, and other memory impairments. As a company, we are proud of our commitment to the care we provide for those with these diseases.
