Our approach to resident care is of a holistic nature in that the "whole person" is treated as we strive to meet the physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of all. At Touchpoints, we will always strive to exceed your expectations. We hope to accomplish this by always leaving open lines of communication while the interdisciplinary team partners with you to develop your plan of care. This process is initiated with a "Meet and Greet" meeting that is scheduled just days after admission and continues with regularly scheduled care plan conferences and discharge planning meetings.

Our Recreational team works continually to develop new programs to provide entertainment to residents from many a varied background. Activities include: on-site entertainment (includes music of different genres and timespan), arts and crafts, cooking classes and demonstrations, movies, karaoke, bingo, and other group games. The recreational staff also runs art therapy, garden therapy, pet therapy, and music therapy programming. There are weekly religious services from many different faiths to meet the spiritual needs of our residents. In addition, there are scheduled weekly out-trips in the facility's van, to various stores, restaurants, parks, and theatres in the community. In the past year we opened a dynamic and state-of-the-art rehabilitation unit we call Touchpoints. It quickly became an integral part of the Greater Manchester community. Touchpoints offers something very different from other rehabilitation units. It is an intimate 17 bed, hotel-style wing of our facility that offers attentive and personalized care with spacious hardwood floor rooms, personal HD televisions, private phones and wifi access. Our Rehab services are offered 7 days per week. All residents receive a pre-discharge home assessment to ensure that your discharge is safe, comfortable, and seamless. Representatives from our team then follow up with you in the community once you're back home.
