Long Term Care

Respite Care
Caring for a loved one can be physical and emotionally overwhelming. We offer 24-hour care from our highly trained staff of health care professionals. Our respite care program is designed to give caregivers a break from a few days to a few weeks to rest, take care of other responsibilities or to take a much needed trip. Our respite program is also a great chance for an individual who is thinking about long term care and would like to experience what it is like at Churchman Village. Our comprehensive program includes individualize activities, personalized therapies, and integration into the social setting through group events. Rest assured, your loved ones will be well cared for and their medical and dietary needs will be overseen by our skilled nursing staff.

Hospice Care
A Hospice Care Program is designed to provide the best quality of life for terminally ill residents through a holistic approach. This means giving spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical comfort to the residents and their families. The staff of Churchman Village combines knowledge and empathy to help manage a patient’s symptoms and make the patient as comfortable as possible.

At Churchman Village, we work with Hospice to provide a comfortable, home-like environment. Our 24/7 coordinated nursing care involves the resident's family physician and our care providers. Speech, occupational and physical therapies may be utilized in the care treatment plan to manage physical symptoms. Through Hospice, we are an emotional and spiritual support system for the resident and family during this time.

Palliative Care
Our palliative care program seeks to treat the entire person and relieve suffering to improve the quality of life for people of any age and at any stage in a serious illness, whether that illness is curable, chronic, or life-threatening. You may have palliative care while you are undergoing treatments that may cure or reverse the effects of your illness. In fact, palliative care can help you cope with aggressive treatments by getting your pain and symptoms under control to help you fight the disease.
