Located one block north of Windsor Road and one block east of Philo Road; Canterbury Ridge is located in a residential area near Busey Bank, Meijer, Wal-Mart, Monicals and Kennedy’s, as well as Stone Creek Golf Course and Meadowbrook Park. Carle Hospital and Provena Hospital are both less than eight miles away, and regardless of your hospital affiliation, we have both Carle Clinic and Christie Clinic within blocks of our community. Our bus takes residents to doctor appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays for their convenience.

A Wonderful Selection

When you walk into Brookdale Urbana, you will find that our staff is warm and our residents are happy. Our community offers 98 apartments with a variety of options to suit the needs of each individual. Apartment choices include studio, alcove, one-bedroom, one-bedroom deluxe and two-bedroom units.

All of our apartments include a kitchenette, a fully handicap-accessible private bathroom, individually-controlled heating and cooling units in every room, advanced basic cable, as well as an emergency response system for each resident.

Our housekeepers will come in weekly to clean your apartment and change out your linens so that you can take time to enjoy activities and events in the community.

Our common areas consist of our ILLINI room, billiards room, ice cream parlor, family room, fireplace room and the library. Genesis Rehab is located on-site for any of our residents’ therapy needs including physical, occupational, and speech therapy.

“Runs with Scissors”, our beauty shop located on the main floor, has two experienced and friendly stylists to serve the needs of our residents.

Our Life Enrichment Director has designed an outstanding activities program that includes a variety of daily activities that meet the unique interests of each individual. Our residents enjoy regular off-site excursions such as outings to museums, fishing trips, petting zoos, restaurants, and theaters.To help keep their minds and bodies fit, residents like to attend our regular educational seminars, exercise classes, and church services. Fine Dining

Brookdale Urbana serves three home-cooked meals daily with two different entrée selections available at every meal. During our lunch hour, we have a wide variety of items in our salad bar from which our residents can choose. Each month we have a family night that features food items that fit the theme of the event.
