The Village Memory Care Neighborhood offers specialized care for those with Alzheimer's disease or other memory impairments. Our staff is specially trained to offer aid andfort to those residents while providing excellent healthcare and quality of life.

Types of Care
Randolph Nursing & Rehabilitation is a full-service nursing facility offering rehabilitative care, long-term care, skilled nursing, a secured Alzheimer's unit, Hospice care and respite care. Our nursing community is Medicare and Medicaid certified.

Rehabilitative Care
Often, specialized health services are required following surgery, an illness or when memory begins to significantly diminish. Following an individualized plan of rehabilitation, many residents can build strength, balance, and increase their memory function through proper care such as physical, occupational, and speech therapy.

Our programs include therapies designed to maintain functioning and promote the highest level of independence possible. Our staff also assists individuals who suffer from physical conditions that interfere with basic daily activities including swallowing conditions.

Long Term Care

Our dedicated medical team provides a full spectrum of nursing and specialty services 24 hours a day. Skilled Nursing
Nursing care is provided for individuals recovering from an illness or injury, post-surgery, or those requiring 24-hour quality care. Our specialized approach is designed to help each resident achieve the highest level of independence possible. At Randolph Nursing & Rehabilitation, we have so much to offer residents who need a variety of IV/infusion therapy treatments. The types of infusion therapies offered include:

Secure Alzheimer's Unit
The Village Memory Care Neighborhood was created to serve those facing Alzheimer's disease, dementia or other memory challenges. It's a place where residents feel safe, secure and well loved.

For our residents, The Village feels like home. The environment is non-threatening, and residents move freely knowing that support is always nearby. By involving residents in everyday activities that they can accomplish and enjoy, they feel successful, confident and enjoy a feeling of self-worth.

Our experienced, compassionate caregivers are specially trained in dealing with memory care issues and know what to look for and how to respond to each resident's unique experience. They get to know all they can on a personal level and watch for special opportunities to relive past experiences that stimulate feelings of security and belonging.

The Village is a 28-bed secure unit with semi-private rooms and private dining area. This is the only secure Alzheimer's unit located in Randolph County. Family members of those with Alzheimer's disease are invited to join our specially trained staff for the Alzheimer's Support Group each month. Hospice Care
A Hospice Care Program is designed to provide the best quality of life for terminally ill residents through a holistic approach. This means giving spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical comfort to the residents and their families. The staff of Randolph Nursing Home combines knowledge and empathy to help manage a patient's symptoms and make the patient as comfortable as possible.

At Randolph Nursing & Rehabilitation, we work with Hospice to provide a comfortable, home-like environment. Our 24/7 coordinated nursing care involves the resident's family physician and our care providers. Speech, occupational and physical therapies may be utilized in the care treatment plan to manage physical symptoms. Through Hospice, we are an emotional and spiritual support system for the resident and family during this time.

Respite Care
Caring for a loved one can be overwhelming physically and emotionally. We offer 24-hour care from our highly trained staff of health care professionals. Our respite care program is designed to give caregivers a break from a few days to a few weeks to rest, take care of other responsibilities or to take a much needed trip. Our respite program is also a great chance for an individual who is thinking about long-term care and would like to experience what it is like at Randolph Nursing & Rehabilitation. Our comprehensive program includes individualize activities, personalized therapies, and integration into the social setting through group events.
