Brookdale Cedar Rapids, formerly Emeritus at Silver Pines, is among the premier residential care facilities in Cedar Rapids Iowa. It is located right off of Highway 380 making it a just a short five to seven mile trip to Westdale Mall for shopping and dining. We are within six miles of St. Lukes Hospital and Mercy Medical Center. We are located in a residential neighborhood and surrounded by beautiful pine trees and timber. Silver Pines offers 64 studio and suite-style senior apartments all on one level. There are two courtyards that are available for residents in which to relax and watch birds. We have an activities room with a full kitchen and two television areas with a movie library available.

Our Staff

Brookdale Cedar Rapids has a dedicated staff with a Resident Care Director, LPNs, and Resident Aides to assist with care. Additionally, we have a full-time Life Enrichment Director andmunity Relations Director dedicated to helping residents live a full enriching and healthy life.

Brookdale Cedar Rapids has a full activities program that promotes socialization and active living. We offer daily exercise, crafts, movie nights and weekly outings to shopping and dining as well as trips to area casinos. Religious services are offered at the community by local churches. Emeritus at Silver Pines has an intergenerational program that partners with local elementary schools to connect students and residents.
