Brookdale Hattiesburg II, formerly Emeritus at Pine Meadow, provides Alzheimers care in Hattiesburg, MS. Ourmunity shares a beautiful campus with our sister community, Brookdale Hattiesburg I. We are located less than a mile south of Forrest General Hospital and the Hattiesburg Clinic complex. Our private driveway opens up to a lovely campus which is surrounded by a greenway of trees between our communities and a friendly, secure, quiet, residential neighborhood.

When you walk in to Brookdale Hattiesburg II, the first thing you will notice is the happy friendly atmosphere. Our memory care community is truly a home and we are one big happy family. So whether you are interested in a private room or a companion living arrangement, we have a space to fill your needs.
Our small, homey community offers four private and 26 companion senior apartments; all on the first floor and wheelchair accessible. We also have two fully-furnished day rooms complete with library, game tables and television for movie night or college game day.

We nurture strong relationships with area hospitals, clinics, skilled nursing facilities, and rehabilitation centers. Through the communications and relationships that we share with key staff within these affiliations, we provide a seamless continuum of care for our residents.
Our Staff
Our staff at Brookdale Hattiesburg II is chosen for their caregiving skills and their caring attitudes. They are provided with strong, continuing education geared towards taking care of an Alzheimer’s population, but you also might find them conducting a group sing along with the residents.

Brookdale Hattiesburg II is proud to have visitors from our local community and hosts an Alzheimer’s caregiver support group every month, which provides informative presentations as well as fellowship.
We are also an active participant in our local community. We are truly committed to promoting brain health and memory care among the residents of Hattiesburg, and provide an Alzheimer’s caregiver support group every month that has showcased some of the areas premier physicians and neurologists.
Fine Dining
At Pine Meadow, we provide three delicious wholesome meals daily. We also provide three between meal snacks daily to assure that our memory care residents receive proper nutrition. We also have a registered dietician audit each resident’s condition on a monthly basis and recommend changes if necessary. At Pine Meadow, meals and snacks become a social event and we encourage family and friends to join their loved ones for a great meal.
