At ComfortCare Nursing Center, we have a wide range of activities for the residents to enjoy.  Residents participate in monthly outings, religious activities, arts and crafts, exercise classes, weekly manicures, monthly spa day, and monthly buffet style dining.  ComfortCare hosts the annual “Rock the Block” event which includes residents from the area nursing facilities.  These are just a few of the activities offered at our facility.

JONES COUNTY REST HOME

Jones County Rest Home is located in the country where the mood is quite and peaceful.  This 122 bed nursing facility also accepts Medicaid and Private Pay residents.   The Nursing Home staff is friendly and always willing to greet a new resident or visitor.  The staff members, many of whom have worked at the facility for over 20 years, take pride in creating a homelike environment for the residents.

The Rest Home offers a wide variety of activities for the residents.  The activities are specifically planned and individualized, according to each resident’s special interest.

ComfortCare Nursing Center and Jones County Rest Home are participants in the Advancing Excellence Campaign.  This is a national campaign focused on improving the quality of life, as well as, quality of care for residents in nursing homes.  The focus at each of these facilities is for each resident to attain and maintain their highest level of physical, mental, and psychosocial well being.
