A place to trust
We are a family of 5 children and we had our mother in 3 of the area nursing homes with a number of complaints that never seemed to be resolved. Our mother developed bed sores and Abbey Woods was recommended by our doctor to try. He stated that the care was above all others. Well we had to see this place for our self. The driveway was not in the best condition so we thought that would be a reason to turn around and go look other places however we continued on just to find a warm home like atmosphere clean without odor and staff that were smiling and happy appeared to enjoy their job. We toured the facility and did place our mother at this facility, and are very please with the care and administration. They are always ready to resolve concerns and the nursing care is above all others we had experienced. Mothers open bed sores were aggressively addressed and healed in a matter of two weeks. We would recommend this facility to anyone who wants quality care in a home atmosphere.

My great Aunt suffered
My aunt was a heavyset woman it was known she needed a pulley for help lifting her. But they decided to have one nurse try to lift her on he own and dropped her. Which caused her femur bone to break it was not tended to and she ended up with staff infection. The owner laughed in my grandmother face in court and said they did not carry insurance. Just so everyone knows they are not required to.
