Brookdale East Side has a variety of living amodations that are bright and airy. Our studio is our most economic room, and the room of choice for many of our residents. The deluxe boasts a large spacious layout and plenty of room for two, or single if you so choose. The suite with kitchenette and two-room layout allows for plenty of room for entertaining and offers separate sleeping quarters.
Brookdale East Side is a quaint senior living community with all the comforts of home without all of the headaches. We offer 80 senior apartments all situated on one floor to ensure safety and convenience. Whether dining in the dining room, relaxing next to the fireplace, catching a great oldie in the theatre room, or enjoying happy hour in the sports lounge, you are sure to find what you are looking for here at Brookdale East Side.

Active Lifestyle
Brookdale East Side offers an array of activities and social programming that is reflective of our residents’ preferences. Programming begins at move-in when residents are screened for their personal preference profiles. From these profiles and activities-planning sessions, residents tell us what things they like doing, and these are in turn incorporated in our overall activity planning. This approach recently resulted in activities like a pig roast luau, Oktoberfest, and a clam bake; all of which were resident-chosen activities. On a day-to-day basis, you will also see residents engaged in activities of their choice which they may lead on their own. Examples might include “exercises with Betty” or “Bingo with Gerry”; both resident-led programs.

As members of the Fayetteville and Syracuse Chamber of Commerce, Brookdale East Side is well aware of the benefits of community ties. For this reason we strive to find every opportunity to get involved. From hosting as polling sites for community voting to our monthly friend-and-family events, our doors are always open. Brookdale East Side has enjoyed a rich heritage of community spirit. We play host to a number of community events ranging from informational seminars to more light-hearted Oktoberfests and Bavarian dancers. Our programming consists of a myriad of events that captivate all audiences, young and old alike.
Fine Dining
At Brookdale East Side, residents are afforded the opportunity to sit back and relax while our chefs prepare three homemade meals each day. All menus are overseen by a dietician to ensure that they are balanced and nutritional as well as accommodating special needs diets. Residents are also given the opportunity to make decisions in their meal planning as they can select a resident choice meal monthly. There are also various family and friend events which allow for residents to try different culinary delights from around the world as well as classic, American favorites.
