We are proud of our strong, experienced team members, who lead staff to fulfill our mission to share God’s love in word and deed. Our inspiration is, and always will be, Jesus Christ. The example of His life and the story of the Good Samaritan in Luke 10:25-37 provides a clear path as to what we are here for and how we must conduct ourselves.
Staff members, volunteers, family members and guests are all equally instrumental in giving each resident the care for his or her social, spiritual, emotional and physical needs. Our residents’ quality of life improves from the individualized care they receive at Luther Manor.
Neighborhoods
Neighborhoods help us develop a warm and inviting home for residents. Our residents and staff voted on names for each neighborhood to fit its unique personality.
Open breakfast
Just like at home, you may choose when and what you want to eat. For example, some prefer a light continental breakfast while others wake up early for a large breakfast. Residents can choose between several food choices.
Gentle Awakening
Rather than following a strict schedule, you may choose you own sleep schedule. If you like to sleep in and eat a late breakfast, you may. We encourage residents to make their own decisions with everyday life choices.
Rehabilitation
Our certified restorative nursing assistants help our long term care residents maintain and increase balance, strength and range of motion, as well as restore loss of function and prevent further disability through exercise. Cognitive, speech, physical and occupational therapy services also are available.
Activities
Our activity staff develops daily activities including music programs, current events review, exercise, manicures,munity outings, cards, hymn sings, sensory groups and much more. When planning the monthly calendar, the activity staff focuses on each individual’s physical, social, cognitive, community, creative, spiritual and special needs.
Spiritual care
The mission of Luther Manor is to share God’s love in word and deed, believing that “In Christ’s Love, Everyone Is Someone.” We offer ecumenical Sunday worship services, Holy Communion, daily prayers, mealtime devotions and Bible studies. Our chaplain leads the spiritual life of our center, and our chapel and meditation area is available for anyone to use.
