Our commitment to quality care is shown through our relationships we have nurtured with area hospitals and rehabilitation centers such as St. Joseph’s Hospital, Crouse Community Hospital, Iroquois Rehabilitation, Sunnyside Rehabilitation Center and Brichwood. By fostering these relationships, we can provide continued care for our residents that is comforting to the families and their loved one.
Our small assisted living community is homey and comfortable. We have 79 senior apartments all on one level. There are no stairs or elevators to worry about. The dining room is set up in family style to encourage conversation and companionship. Whether relaxing outside or taking a stroll, our residents enjoy the opportunity to get to know one another and enjoy each other’s company. Since we are a small community, everyone from families to residents to the staff is familiar with everyone else. We offer a variety of activities such as live entertainment and resident outings to surrounding attractions. Our variety of activities focuses on mental and physical stimulation with the freedom of cultural and spiritual choices too. Each day is filled with enjoyment and commaradarie while we take care of the mundane daily tasks. Life at Brookdale Liverpool is about quality and care. Our management team and staff have many years of experience at our community and in the senior health care profession. Active Lifestyle
Our residents thrive on the time they spend together socially. They enjoy spending time outside, walking, or just visiting with each other. We encourage all residents to participate in all of our activities such as Bingo, and our secret wedding which involved some very distinctive and prominent canines! Holidays are always a family event and everyone is encouraged to join the fun.
Partnering with the Local Community
We are proud of our community commitments and encourage our residents and families to join us. We participate in fund-raising for Alzheimer’s and Vera House Elder Abuse Division. We are sponsoring a “Doggie Day Wash” to fundraise for the SPCA. Brookdale Liverpool is committed to the community. We host a variety of support groups as well as participating in community events. Monthly support groups include Alzheimer’s support group, care givers support group and wellness groups. We thrive to encourage community members, families and residents to attend and participate in our meetings.
Fine Dining
Our wonderful dining services staff serves three homemade meals daily. Typical lunch and dinner meals offer soup or salad, entree and desert. A variety of juices, coffee and tea are offered at each meal. Meals are offered in a family atmosphere so the residents can enjoy each others company and conversation while savoring a delicious meal!
