“Thank you for finding Village Care of King. It’s the best thing that has happened to me”. This is ament from a resident to a family member. For over 16 years, Village Care has cared for more than 1200 residents with many of them choosing to return a second time. Village Care offers Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing to those that needs cannot be met at home. Many of our “aged saints’ are able to return home or move to a lower level of care. Other choose to remain for continuing care.

Village Care works co-operatively with Hospice, Mental Health Services, and a Podiatrist, a Dentist, and an Optometrist come to Village Care as well as a team of physicians. There are over 100 volunteers that dedicate time to enhance activities and befriend residents. Loneliness and isolation are concerns for the elderly. At Village Care, residents have scheduled meals from a liberalized menu, security of staff to meet their needs at all times, enlightening activities, and accurate administration of prescribed medications. Families see an improvement in resident condition and look forward to visits. Thank you to the 150 staff who consider care of the elderly a ministry, and thank you to the residents and family who choose Village Care of King.

This 116- bed facility is managed by Autumn Corporation. Ninety-six beds are licensed for Medicare and Medicaid residents. Carolina Christian Village with two apartment complexes and Village Care of King, the Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is located on a portion of a 42 acre tract of rolling land on Ingram Road in King, North Carolina. The site has a beautiful view of Pilot Mountain and easy to locate off Highway 52.
