White Oak of Shelby’s nursing facility meets residents’ medical needs, stressing independence and dignity. Restoring a resident to their optimal health through individualized treatments is the goal of our therapy programs. We provide 24-hour nursing care, including 24-hour in-house Registered Nurse supervision and care.

At White Oak of Shelby, residents enjoy the rocking chair front porch, our landscaped grounds and two outdoor courtyards—one of which features a gazebo and koi pond. White Oak of Shelby has been recognized as “The Best of Cleveland County” long term care facility in our county for six consecutive years. We strive to provide unique opportunities for life enrichment to our residents. This includes restaurant style dining, which alleviates institutionalization of meals, allowing residents to make choices. It also promotes interaction with peers along with staff and visitors. We utilize the ‘It’s Never Too Late’puter system for our residents. This technology allows our residents to become more adept at communicating with loved ones and others via Internet technology, as well as making activities more meaningful.
