Brookdale Fox Run, formerly Emeritus at Fox Run, is a Fairborn Ohio Assisted Living and Alzheimer’s and Dementia caremunity for seniors. Located on five acres of beautifully landscaped grounds with an outdoor courtyard, gardening areas and paved walking trails, our community is easily accessed from I-70,I-675 and I-75. We are just minutes from Wright Patterson Air Force Base with a small town appeal and big town amenities.
We are located in a rural area and just minutes away from The Fairfield Commons Mall with many restaurants and great shopping facilities. The Wright Patterson Air Force Museum is another attraction that’s close by. Although rural, we sit close to interstate allowing many close by attractions for outings with our residents.
A Wonderful Selection
Our residents at Brookdale Fox Run are involved with each other and are like family. Each senior apartment offers a great view and easy access to the amenities in our community. We offer studio style apartments as well as one-bedroom apartments which can be enjoyed privately or with a companion. You can retire peacefully to your apartment and if you want to be more involved, join in the entertainment and socialization in our common areas.
We have a lovely country setting with a very home-like interior with a large lobby community area with a center fireplace presenting a warm and inviting environment. A beautiful appetizing Dining area is also offered with windows circling the entire room so all residents can enjoy the weather outdoors, summer or winter.
Strong, Caring, Professional Relationships
We partner with area hospitals, skilled nursing communities and rehab centers such as Daysprings, Heartland of Beavercreek, Heartland of Centerville and Springfield, St John nursing, Gem City home care, Miami Valley Hospital, Kettering Hospital and Community Hospital in Springfield to ensure continuum of care for our residents.
Our Staff
We have a very experienced Management staff and they bring many years of healthcare experience. Several of our employees have been here since the building opened. They will tell you it’s the nicest place to work and are very proud to be working here. We are known for our wonderful resident care program and residents brag to everyone about how tasty the food is here and that the activity programs are awesome. The Life Enrichment Director has been here for over 12 years and has a great relationship with all residents.
A Wonderful, Active Lifestyle
At Brookdale Fox Run senior living community our residents enjoy a full calendar of social, physical and interactive activities. Our residents take part in organizing activities and continue their independence while having security of knowing care is available if needed. Every Thursday a local musical group joins us with folks from the community to enjoy blue grass, country and gospel music. Our residents also enjoy competing with other local senior organization in Wii bowling tournaments. Residents at Brookdale Fox Run like to volunteer within the community utilizing their individual talents to share with their peers.
Partnering with the Local Neighborhood Community
We work with local senior centers and community groups to participate in and host events. We host entertainment in the community for current residents and community members. We also participate in senior informational fairs, hold educational seminars and support community events. We are a local voting site every year for our residents, families and the surrounding community. We are a voting pole for two precincts each year.
A few of the community events include the Annual Community Halloween Party, Antique Car Show, Ice Cream Socials, Monthly Christmas, Open House Goodwill Antique and Style Show. Emeritus at Fox Run works closely with Elderly United sponsoring events like the book Club that meets bi-monthly in the winter and monthly throughout the summer. Several of our residents participate with the events of choice at Elderly united in Enon. We also work closely with the other senior organizations sponsoring their event also Fairborn Senior center, Huber Height Senior center and Beavercreek Senior Center.
Fine Dining
We serve all homemade meals and desserts that are made from scratch. Nutritional and appetizing to everyone’s palate, we always have two options to choose from each meal to ensure all our residents are happy. Special orders are no problem and welcomed. Our Dining Services Director comes to us with many years of experience and his goal is to make sure all his residents leave the table happy and content with their dining experience.
