Brookdale River Road is a Keizer, OR assisted livingmunity near Salem. Located on the corner of Bever Drive and River Road, our location is ideal because we are between the heart of Salem and Keizer without being in the crowded part of the city. We are near the Salem Centre mall, many doctors’ offices and hospitals, a wide variety of churches as well as grocery and clothing stores. The beautiful Salem Riverfront Park and Carousel are only minutes away. Best of all, Salem is only an hour from the Oregon coast, the city of Portland and Hood River.
A Wonderful Selection
We have worked hard on creating both a safe and friendly environment for everyone. From our landscaped parking area to our relaxing reading space, our family strives to maintain a clean and appealing atmosphere. We have maintained full occupancy for more than three years which we feel shows just how comfortable and inviting River Road is. Our included amenities range from a weekly turn down service to three full meals a day. We offer free transportation to doctor appointments scheduled on Thursdays as well as trips to other outings. We also provide actives on a daily basis organized by our Life Engagement Director.

Among the other communities in the area, we have built long lasting relationships which allow us to provide the best level of care for you even if it means that care be provided by one of our Brookdale sister communities or a local neighbor.
A Wonderful, Active Lifestyle
Brookdale River Road is perfect for those residents seeking different levels of activity. Our community has a walking path around the building for walks and gardening as the weather permits. We have a highly considerate Life Engagement Director who works with you to plan trips and activities that peak your interest. The activities for each month are planned out in advance after conferring with you about the things you would like to spend time doing. All residents are welcome to participate but absolutely none are required to.
Partnering with the Local Neighborhood Community
A local community is only as strong as the members living in it. Brookdale River Road is dedicated to giving back to the community and participating in local events. Charity walks and barbecues are annual activities we have participated in for years. One of the more recent neighborhood contributions our residents are a part of is assembling sack lunches for the homeless that we deliver to a local church for handing out.
Fine Dining
Our dining staff is well-equipped to cater to any dietary demands. In our dining hall, meals are ordered restaurant-style and prepared individually by our chef and cooking staff. Our Dining Service Supervisor has records of every resident’s dietary limitations and prepares the meals in accordance with each. At every meal we provide you an alternative if the first option is not desired and of course, exceptions can often be worked out.
