A Wonderful Selection
A small intimate community with a family-friendly atmosphere, Brookdale Memorial Oaks feels like home the moment you walk through the doors. Our common areas — including our beautiful sunroom, and a dining room in which all seats have a lovely courtyard view — give residents and their loved ones the opportunity to get to know one another.
We also offer a wide range of activities each month, including our active Residents Council and community outings to the popular Brenham Blue Bell Creamery and/or the Galveston Sea Wall. While Brookdale Memorial Oaks is located in a rural area, we are in close proximity to many restaurants, Wal-Mart, the Dollar Store and Briargrove Park. Several medical facilities are also close by, including West Houston Medical Center, Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center and a nursing home rehabilitation facility if ever needed. A Wonderful, Active Lifestyle
We have an amazing Life Enrichment Director with twenty years of experience working with seniors. Our Life Enrichment Director works with our seniors to plan the types of activities they want. We value our residents’ opinions and rely on their feedback to plan activities they enjoy. Choices in social, physical, mental, spiritual, cultural and creative activities are always encouraged. Our residents enjoy a variety of live entertainment and outdoor excursions, all with the security of knowing care is available if they need it.
We are an active senior living community offering daily exercise class, walking groups and a variety of arts and crafts. The fun never stops with monthly entertainers from jazz to hula dancers. We have a very lively group that loves to sing along, reminisce and talk about today’s current events.

Emeritus at Memorial works with the Alzheimer’s Association participating in fundraising and awareness.
Fine Dining
Three homemade meals are served each day. A typical lunch or dinner meal offers a salad and choice of two hearty soups to start, entree and dessert. Meals are served on fine china in a restaurant-style atmosphere so that residents can enjoy conversation with the company at their table while enjoying a satisfying culinary affair. Our Dining Services Director has been with us for many years. In addition to the wonderful menu, every month we plan a special meal for the residents based on their choice.
