Life is a string of memories; keeping those memories alive is keeping life alive. At the Magnolia, our goal is to provide the most innovative, scientifically-based program and the facility to care for the individuals diagnosed with dementia and dementia-associated illnesses. Our focus is to the resident. We specially tailor activities that enrich their lives in a safe environment, while promoting serenity and a sense of self autonomy. In order to achieve these goals we promote the Trofe method.
At the Magnolia, all residents will be evaluated by a registered nurse and clinical psychologist. This allows for detailed care plans, fitting into specific programs categories. Medications, vital signs, along with other mental health issues will be evaluated and monitored. Special needs, such as Diabetes and incontinence will also be a focus of care.
We are proud to offer an innovative approach to dementia care: the Trofe Method. This method suggests that the individual suffering from dementia will achieve a higher quality of life in a simple environment, openmunication and focusing on remaining skills. It also espouses ideas from the Validation therapy suggesting elderly individuals diagnosed with dementia are in the end stages of life and are trying to resolve unfinished business.

The Magnolia House is a very pretty place, but you need to look carefully at
the care of the patients. There is a limited number of nurses and aides to
care for patients. By spending time at the facility, you can learn that
Magnolia does not provide the best care for patients.
While Magnolia House is pretty and affordable, it has problems.

EXCEPTIONAL!
VERY BEAUTIFUL!! EXCEPTIONAL FOOD! EXCEPTIONAL STAFF!! Would
refer to anyone looking!! My mo has been there for a year now.They
go above and beyond!!! They helped me understand the process of
dementia,and made it very easy for me to know what my mother is
going through.
