Surrounded by a breathtaking view, Brookdale North Ogden, formerly Emeritus Estates in Ogden is considered one of Utah’s finest retirement munities. The community is nestled among some of the most beautiful outdoor areas in the nation including the Cache National Forest and just minutes from the Great Salt Lake. Other area attractions include Eccles Dinosaur Park, Willard Bay, Snow Basin, Powder Mountain, and an abundance of walking trails and golf courses.
Conveniently located three miles from the I-15 and Hwy 89 byways, Brookdale North Ogden is located in a quiet residential area near Wal-Mart, Walgreen’s, Kings, Wells Fargo, Bank of Utah, the AFCU, the Raptor Baseball Stadium and the town of North Ogden. Several medical facilities are also close by including Ogden Regional Medical Center, McKay-Dee Hospital Center and a nursing home rehabilitation facility, if ever needed.

Brookdale North Ogden is a community comprised of 80 senior apartments, all with kitchenettes and private bathrooms. Our residents and their families appreciate the warm and inviting atmosphere – a beautiful place to call home. We offer several choices in apartment styles including studios, alcoves, one-bedroom, two-bedroom and Friendship apartments; some of which offer patios and views of the mountains.
With its family-friendly atmosphere and our recent beautiful renovation, Brookdale North Ogden feels like home the minute you walk through the doors. Our common areas — including our lovely dining room, library and TV room — give residents and their loved ones the opportunity to get to know one another. We also offer a wide range of activities each month including clubs, exercise classes and dining out at area restaurants.
Strong, Caring Professional Relationships
In order to provide a seamless continuum of care for our residents, Brookdale North Ogden has developed strong relationships with trusted medical professionals in the area. In addition to health-care providers and clinics, our resources include a local skilled nursing facility, rehabilitation centers and hospitals, including Ogden Regional Medical Center and McKay-Dee Hospital Center.
Residents can choose whether to go out to see their personal physicians or we can help them schedule an appointment with one of the two physicians that come to our community to provide care. And depending upon what the resident needs for rehabilitation services, we will bring in outside physical, occupational and speech therapists to work with residents on-site. We can also bring in outside hospice services as necessary.

A Wonderful, Active Lifestyle
At Brookdale North Ogden, we believe in helping our residents thrive. We offer a variety of different activities daily, which cater to all of our residents’ needs and interests. Brookdale North Ogden even offers its own five-cup putting green, individual gardening spots, table tennis and a beautiful water feature. We visit our local playhouse theatre and attend movies along with our weekly outings. For our residents in memory care, we have designed an outstanding program to help them remain active and engaged.
Partnering with the Local Community
Brookdale North Ogden is dedicated to staying connected and active in the Ogden area. We have a tremendous relationship with our local community and invite them to a number of our seasonal events such as Valentines Day, Fourth of July, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
We are also a proud sponsor of our local Alzheimer’s Association. Every year, we hold our Alzheimer’s fundraiser, “Revin’ for a Reason,” which includes an antique car show, BBQ, baked goods, games and fun with our residents, their families and the Ogden community at large. We also participate in the Annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s as a community; and our parent company, Brookdale Senior Living, is a Gold Sponsor of this important event.
To support local families who have a loved one with Alzheimer’s or dementia, we conduct a monthly family support group to help provide education and discussion among caregivers and experts. This group is free and open to the public.

At Brookdale North Ogden, we serve three savory home-style meals and three delicious snacks daily in our dining area. Each meal offers a featured entrée, and many alternate options are also available to meet your loved one’s preferences. Delicious food, friendly staff and good companionship is what makes our dining experience unique.
