Our four-story apartmentmunity is conveniently located near the west end, about five miles from the popular Shortpump Mall. Built on 10 acres, the community caters to assisted living and memory care residents.

We offer assisted living at its best with our studio, one-bedroom or two-bedroom apartments. Each spacious apartment features 9-foot ceilings, full kitchens, balconies, fireplaces and ceiling fans. We renovated our community in 2009, adding more than 100 apartments along with a movie theater, bistro and beautiful courtyards.

Our Assisted Living Community

Gayton Terrace offers plenty of opportunities for social interaction, physical activity and intellectual stimulation. You can join friends for a game of bingo, take part in our exercise classes and scheduled activities, or go on one of our many monthly excursions. Popular activities include yoga, afternoon at the movies, wine tastings, leadership forums, bingo and bridge. You can sit outside in one of the large, beautiful gazebos or enjoy the fresh air with a leisurely stroll. Our popular dining programs offer delicious meals, along with outstanding customer service. Residents enjoy three meals a day and the dining room has a beautiful salad bar daily and a variety of wine selections.

Assisted living services such as medication support, nutritional support, 24-hour trained staff, help with dressing, and emergency response provide residents with extra support. These services are available in the convenience and comfort of your own apartment.

Our Memory Care Community

Maintaining familiar daily routines is important for our Alzheimer’s, dementia and memory care residents at Gayton Terrace. Physical and behavioral needs, as well as life history each play integral roles in our understanding of their requirements. Each resident receives an individualized service plan designed to meet their unique needs and to help them feel safe while adding meaning to their day.

Those who work with Alzheimer’s and dementia residents must have compassion and understanding. Accordingly, our staff are carefully selected and trained to manage the challenges associated with dementia, which can sometimes be difficult. The Clare Bridge Daily Path provides a gentle structure to each day that targets specific needs of those with Alzheimer’s and various types and levels of dementia.
