Brookdale Walla Walla, formerly Emeritus at Garrison Creek Lodge, is a Walla Walla, WA assisted livingmunity for seniors. It is considered one of Eastern Washington’s premier assisted living communities. Nestled in the Blue Mountains and bordering Fort Walla Walla Park wildlife refuge, our senior living community is in Walla Walla. It is built on a park-like setting with ten acres of beautifully landscaped grounds, lovely gardens and meandering trails.

Walla Walla has become known for attracting fine wine enthusiasts and roving retirees. Its newly renovated downtown features 19th Century Italianate-style commercial buildings that are being revamped into art galleries, bookstores and restaurants.

Brookdale Walla Walla is surrounded by rural countryside, yet we are close to Highway 125 and West Highway 12 which gives us easy access to all that the area has to offer. The community is less than a mile from the Safeway Plaza featuring a postal annex, a dry cleaner, the Dollar Store, Walgreen’s and several restaurants. Wal-Mart is just two miles away. In addition, Walla Walla General Hospital, the VA Medical Center and a nursing home rehabilitation center are also nearby if ever needed.

Brookdale Walla Walla offers 80 apartments on two floors, with a variety of sizes and floor plans to choose from. Each apartment comes with a kitchenette and a full bathroom. Our common areas — including our lovely dining room, TV room and library — give residents and their loved ones the opportunity to get to know one another. We also offer a wide range of activities every month, including off-site excursions to many wonderful attractions in Historic Walla Walla.

Living at Brookdale Walla Walla is like living in your own home with some very beneficial differences. Your home at the community comes with 24-hour on-site staff, weekly housekeeping and linen service, three meals served daily, scheduled transportation and a concierge service. Our community is designed to promote an independent lifestyle, yet a helping hand from our warm, caring staff is always close by.

Strong, Caring Professional Relationships

To help enhance our residents’ health and well-being, the staff at Brookdale Walla Walla has developed strong relationships with trusted health-care providers and organizations in the community. Some of these include Providence St. Mary’s, Walla Walla General Hospital, Regency at the Park, and Park Manor.

Depending upon what the resident needs for rehabilitation services, we will bring in outside physical, occupational, and speech therapists to work with residents here on site. We can also bring in outside hospice services as necessary. Through the communications and relationships that we share with key staff at these organizations, we can provide a seamless continuum of care for our residents.
