Boulder Peer CounselingThe Boulder Group for Peer Counseling provides FREE counseling for seniors through a peer-to-peer volunteer program that offers Individual and Group Supportto adults 60 years and older throughout Boulder County. Peer counselors have extensive training and supervision skills to assist with the special needs of seniors. As peers, they can share their similar life experiences and practical wisdom and they have special abilities to listen and understand senior issues. Our Peer Counselors can help seniors dealing with loneliness, loss of a loved one, physical changes, depression, relocation, anxiety, retirement, isolation, leisure planning, raising grandchildren and caregiver stress. Boulder Support Groups

Women's Group

  • Meets Every Monday at 10:00Am - 11:30AM at the Boulder West Senior Center

Men's Group

  • Meets on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday at the West Senior Center at 10:30Am to 12:00(Noon)

Grandparents Raising Grandchildren

  • Meets on the 4th Thursday of Every Month at 10Am to 11:30Am
  • Snacks and childcare are provided

Caregiver's Group

  • Meets Every Tuesday from 4 - 6:00 at the the Golden West Penthouse
  • Snacks are provided

If you are interested in become an volunteer peer counselor, a valuable opportunity awaits you. Peer counselors are warm and caring men and women who are selected for their innate skill and desire to help others. Training and supervision is provided.
