Located on 25 landscaped acres in a pastoral setting in Golden Springs, our beautifully designed 65 bedmunity features private studio-style, one and two-bedroom units for a total of 56 apartment homes. Companion and semi-private accommodations are also available. All utilities including broadband internet service, cable TV and local phone service are included at no additional cost. Residents may furnish their apartment to their own taste and style.

Licensed by the State of Alabama, each resident is assessed to determine their individual needs and a customized service plan is developed that will best meet those needs. Our professional staff is available 24 hours a day to provide medication and mobility assistance and to guarantee a secure residential environment. Housekeeping and maintenance services are provided as well as transportation to shopping, local medical appointments, and social events.

A wide variety of regularly scheduled activities are on tap including church services, arts and crafts, entertainment, and trips to cultural events. All meals are provided and are enjoyed in the dining rooms. Delicious food and ample portions are served for all palates and fully planned to accommodate a healthy age appropriate diet.

Residents can enjoy their favorite author by visiting the Anniston Public Library’s Bookmobile on its regular visits. Autumn Cove’s Specialty Care Assisted Living program is designed to provide the care and services needed for individuals who have mild to moderate memory loss due to Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. We also accommodate residents whose physical needs are more than can be met in Assisted Living.

We offer a secure, homelike environment with 24-hour personal care assistance from our specially trained staff. Our program promotes memory stimulation through specialized activities designed to allow residents with memory impairment to live an interesting, enriched and dignified life.

Apartments are filled with the resident’s personal belongings to promote familiarity in their day to day lives. Activities include exercise classes, arts and crafts, music therapy and more. Art projects are displayed for family, visitor and staff enjoyment. Outings are planned on a regular basis, allowing the residents to enjoy the sights and sounds of the surrounding areas.

Ongoing training is an important aspect of our program and ensures that our staff has the knowledge and understanding required to support our residents in their daily routines. Our nurses manage all medications and work closely with the residents’ personal physicians to ensure they receive the appropriate health services required to enhance their life.
