Heritage Health - Minonk, previously known as the "Lida Home", is a convenient eldercare option located in the quiet, bedroommunity of Minonk, just minutes outside of the cities of Bloomington and Peoria. As a Heritage facility, Heritage Health- Minonk upholds the tradition of providing quality nursing home care for seniors.

"Offering services from day care to long-term permanent placement, Minonk's focus is to please residents and their families by meeting their needs in a professional but compassionate, small-town setting," says Administrator Kim Seaman. "Knowing the history of each individual residents provides us with the means for more individualized care."

The families of our residents play a very important role at Heritage Health - Minonk. In some respects, they are our "care partners" and are strongly encouraged to participate in their loved one's plan of care and individuals goals. In fact, some of our residents have previously had other roles at our facility - as a volunteer or a family member of another resident under our care. We believe this speaks volumes about the quality of our care because some of our residents are not new faces.

Unique to our property, we have duplexes available to seniors. We are also involved in the community. Monday through Friday, Heritage Heart meals are offered to seniors in the community. Additionally, we are a distribution center for "Meals on Wheels."

We are also proud to offer Shelter Care at Heritage Health - Minonk. Shelter Care is a healthcare living option for seniors that allows them to live in a small community of other seniors who also enjoy a more independent lifestyle but have the security of knowing that if they should need additional assistance, the resources are nearby. Nurses are available to help in emergencies, and assistance with daily living tasks is available.

We now offer wireless internet service for guest and visitor use.
