Opened in 1964, Heritage Health - Peru was one of the original facilities built by Heritage Enterprises. With additions beingpleted in 1967, 1974, and 1981, our facility now includes 129 beds. As a Medicare Certified Program, we offer physical, occupational, and speech therapies to our residents. Once in the middle of a cornfield, our facility is now close to two main thoroughfares in the LaSalle-Peru area, but we still maintain a neighborhood atmosphere.

Our facility's dedicated staff works hard to provide for the needs and wants of our residents. We form strong relationships with our residents, which is just one aspect of the home-like atmosphere we provide. Our reputation in the community remains high because of the excellent care we provide, as well as our great track record with our residents - one half of the people who enter our facility go home because of our heavy focus on therapy services. We are truly a customer-oriented facility.

Heritage Health - Peru offers both respite care and hospice care (contracted through Illinois Valley Community Hospital and St. Margaret's Hospices) to our residents. We are a member of the Illinois Health Care Association and the American Health Care Association.

We also provide wireless internet service for guest and visitor use.
