Our dedicated employees and volunteers go above and beyond to provide quality, compassionate care.

 We have been serving the Le Mars community and surrounding areas since 1958. Since then, our growing continuum of care campus continues to expand to include more senior living options.

In 2008, we opened Willow Creek Place Apartments, offering affordable independent senior living for individuals 62 and older with low to moderate income. In 2011, we finished construction to the Brentwood Center. It now offers neighborhood living with private rooms, family living areas and beautiful courtyards. In 2012, we renovated the front of the Brentwood Center, changing the former dining and activity rooms into a beautiful community room and chapel. We invite you to stop by the campus for a tour!

Affordable housing, also known as income-based housing, includes all types of communities where either some type of financial assistance is available or the rent is controlled for those who live there.

Some examples of affordable housing options include:

• HUD-subsidized communities
• Low-income housing tax credit communities
• Rural development communities 

Income guidelines and restrictions apply to each type of these affordable housing communities, which may vary by location and program. Most Good Samaritan Society affordable housing communities have age restrictions with some exceptions for disabled residents.

In these communities, we strive to provide safe, clean and affordable housing to those who qualify for programs specific to that location. You’ll have a private apartment that is yours to furnish as you like. Our affordable housing communities offer common spaces for events and gatherings, including:

• Bible studies
• Family activities
• Educational opportunities
• Entertainment programs
• Wellness programs
• Social opportunities

Affordable housing communities typically include upkeep of the properties, including lawn care, snow removal and other maintenance tasks. Many of our affordable housing options are part of a larger Good Samaritan Society campus, where additional care options and housing are available, if needed.
