Golding LivingCenter - Lansing is located in Lansing, Kan., less than one mile away from the Lansing Historical Museum. At our LivingCenter, we are dedicated to providing our residents with the care and independence that they deserve.

At Golding LivingCenter - Lansing, we specialize in “rehab-to-home” short-term care that emphasizes the importance of quick rehabilitation and a return to normal life. We offer on-site physical, occupational and speech therapy five days a week. Additionally, we see people for rehabilitation therapy, IV and wound therapies, orthopedics, cardiac care, neurologic conditions, pulmonary needs, bariatric care, infectious disease, post-surgical recovery and pain management.

Under our Geriatric Enhanced Modalities (GEM) program, powered by Aegis Therapies, we offer therapy protocols designed specifically for the health conditionsmon to older adults. Our clinicians are specially trained to integrate the modalities of shortwave diathermy, e-stim, and ultrasound with traditional therapy approaches to maximize patient outcomes. These patients enjoy better mobility, less pain, greater joint flexibility, faster recovery, earlier discharge from therapy and an enhanced quality of life.

We also welcome patients for long-term care—those who need 24-hour licensed attention.

Our experienced staff creates a personalized care plan for each patient to meet his or her needs. A registered dietician oversees our dining and can accommodate special dietary needs. As part of our continuum of care, we follow up after discharge and provide home evaluations and education.

At Golding LivingCenter - Lansing, our residents can choose from private or semi-private rooms, which all have flat screen televisions. We offer an on-site beauty parlor and barber shop. Because we understand the importance of staying active and engaged, our social calendar is carefully planned to include many fun activities for all residents.

In 2012, we are undergoing changes to beautify our facility. This includes renovations to create 14 private patient rooms that are restful and serene. We will have new finishes throughout the building.
