A Wonderful Place to Live At Brookdale Emerson we provide meaningful activities that represent the interests of our residents. This is accomplished by learning about our residents’ life stories. Choices in social, physical, mental, spiritual, cultural and creative activities are encouraged. Residents enjoy a variety of live entertainment and outdoor excursions, all with the security of knowing care is available if they need it. Every morning at Brookdale Emerson starts off with exercise followed by coffee and current events. We have a computer program called Connected Living which is designed for seniors. Each resident is given four half-hour training sessions to learn how to use the computer. Every Wednesday there is a presentation which illustrates how the computer can be used for their entertainment. Partnering with the Community Brookdale Emerson is active in local community events. We often host local clubs and organizations in our facility. The local schools often have their students come to our community to volunteer and assist us with our activities. Brookdale Emerson actively participates in community and local events and we are a proud member of the Chamber of Commerce. Fine Dining Three homemade meals are served each day. There are two seatings for each meal offering two entrees as well as dishes that are always available. Brookdale Emerson has been awarded in the divisional dining services contest. We take great pride in our dining room.
