Our rehabilitation services truly differentiate us. We offer a specially designed proprietary strength-building program, called Freedom Through Functionality (FTF), powered by Aegis Therapies. National Golden Rehab Oues show that patients treated in facilities with the FTF program experience a 30 percent reduction in their risk for falls, as well as an increased ability to function without pain. Patients treated with FTF, compared to those who were not, experienced an increased ability to function and sleep without disruption, as well as improved dignity, social participation and overall quality of life.

Another Aegis program we are proud to feature at Golden LivingCenter - Old Bridge is Geriatric Enhanced Modalities (GEM). This program helps patients with reduced range of motion issues, pain, edema, wounds, muscular weakness and incontinence. GEM features electrical stimulation, ultrasound and short-wave diathermy utilizing detailed protocols designed specifically for older adults.

We also offer the services of physical, occupational and speech therapists. Our nursing staff focuses on excellence, meeting with patients regularly to discuss ongoing needs. In addition, certified nursing assistants are trained to provide round-the-clock care.
