Brookdale Fairport, formerly Emeritus at Perinton Park Manor, is a Fairport, NY assisted livingmunity for seniors. It is conveniently located off route 31 in the town of Perinton. Brookdale Fairport is within walking distance to several small shopping and banking centers, and very close to a larger shopping mall where there are many well known restaurants and stores. We are less than two miles from the Perinton Recreational Center which boasts a senior center, large swimming pool, indoor walking track, exercise pool, and Silver Sneakers exercise programs. Six of the area’s seven major hospitals are less than 25 minutes drive. Exit 490 is only about two miles from Brookdale Fairport. The interstate thruway 90 is about four miles.

Brookdale Fairport is a comfortable, social senior living community that provides three styles of living space: studio, junior suite, and one-bedroom suite. Each is nicely sized and a great place to relax when you want some private time. Each room has a large window, or windows, with a nice view, private bathroom that includes a walk-in shower equipped with shower seat and grab bars, two closets, emergency response system, individual climate control, and is cable ready.

Opened in 1997, Brookdale Fairport was designed to be an open, light and bright retirement community with plenty of inviting social space and a home-like atmosphere. With 78 rooms all on one level, Brookdale Fairport Manor is moderately sized. Every senior apartment has a large window to let in plenty of natural light, its own individual climate control, two closets, and a private bath with walk-in shower that includes a shower seat and grab bars. Our front living room boasts a baby grand piano, fireplace, plenty of sunlight, and comfortable seating for reading a book or the paper, or just relaxing and chatting with others. Our game room hosts a billiard table, vending machines, kitchenette, game tables and cabled TV. Our family room provides comfortable seating in plush chairs and sofas, a kitchenette, and a big-screen, cable TV with Wii and DVD players. The library is a quiet, bright space, with comfortable seating and well stocked with books of all sorts. The courtyards and surrounding lawns boast beautifully maintained flower gardens and shrubbery. Many residents take advantage of walking through the halls that interconnect, or sitting in the rocking chairs and benches on the front porch. Often residents enjoy spotting the variety wildlife that happens by.

We nurture strong relationships with area hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, and home care agencies throughout the tri-county area. Through communications and relationships that we share with key staff within these affiliations, we provide a seamless continuum of care for our residents. We also maintain a strong relationship with the Alzheimer’s Association, the Veterans Service Agencies, and the VA Medical centers.
