We provide attractive cottage-style senior communities and assisted-living apartments, as well as dementia and Alzheimer’s care services. The cottages and one and two-bedroom private senior apartments come equipped with individually controlled heating and air-conditioning systems, full-size refrigerators and microwaves.

Avamere at St. Helens offers warm and inviting public areas that are accessible for mingling with other residents or visiting family members. A range of senior activities—made possible by our life enrichment director—are also on hand for residents. Enjoy senior activities such as day trips in our 15-passenger van, creating mosaics, practicing quiet and thoughtful meditation and even indoor bowling. Three meals are dished up daily, from a varied restaurant-style menu in our friendly dining room.

Our memory care staff practices the "Best Friends" approach to dementia and Alzheimer's care, which is tailored around each resident's special preferences, and encompasses elements of their previous lifestyles. Residents in our Alzheimer's and memory care facility are assisted 24-hours a day by trained and kindhearted senior caregivers and behavior support staff, under the direction of a licensed memory care nurse.
