We offer a continuum of care, from short-term services that help patients return home quickly, to long-term skilled nursing care—and more intensive clinical services if needed. If recuperation involves rehabilitation, we also offer the services of physical, occupational and speech therapists. Whatever your specific needs, our goal at Golden LivingCenter - Lancaster is to provide compassionate care in a safe, comfortable setting where patients and family feel at home.

Our therapy department distinguishes us. We have a variety of enhanced programs to improve urinary incontinence and pain management with equipment such as ultrasound and short-wave diathermy machines. We also have a dedicated wound-care nursing staff who work with the therapy department, as well as an in-house wound doctor and outside wound clinic that can address various skin issues.

Individual attention begins upon admission at Golden LivingCenter - Lancaster, and we consult with patients and family regularly to discuss ongoing needs and goals. Also, our certified nursing assistants are available around the clock, every day of the year—to provide medical care or simply to help with routine activities. Our approach to clinical healthcare emphasizes teamwork between all members of our staff—nurses, dietitians, social workers, activity coordinators—and each employee plays a key role in each patient’s treatment plan.

In 2012, we are undergoing renovations to beautify our facility. This includes a new lobby and building façade. Our fourth floor patient rooms will have new fabric walls, paint, furniture, window treatments, bathroom fixtures, accessories and tiles.
