To develop a care plan that works, we aremitted to getting to know the unique physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of our residents. This means getting to know their individual backgrounds and preferences: their lifelong routines, loved ones, work and educational histories, spiritual lives, skills, hobbies, and much more. It also means getting to know the smallest of details, like whether it should be sunny-side-up or hard-boiled, comedy or drama, or jazz, easy listening, or rock-and-roll. It all matters.
